Succulent Wreath

I saw this Succulent Wreath on BHG.com today and absolutely loved it! 

I like the starfish in the middle, too!

I do not have a green thumb (as verified by my husband), but think I may be safe with this plant. 

The wreath only requires water every 3-10 weeks. With it on the front door, I can't forget about it...so, I may give it a try. I found the tutorial here

My Birthday Present

I'm hoping to have the back patio fixed up for my birthday. I put together this "Inspiration collage" to help my husband catch my vision... let's see if it works. :)

Dreaming of an Outdoor Room

My hubby, two lovely dogs and I have lived in our current house for 2 1/2 years. Every Spring, I think, "This is the year that I am going to decorate the patio/backyard area.  Instead, it has gotten sadder and sadder looking (I'd post a picture, but I am too ashamed).  This year is no different, I really want to make use of the space. However, I suspect we won't live here another year since we are only renting. We are thinking of buying a house in the next year.  With this in mind, I want something temporary and that I can take with me. Perusing the internet, I found some ideas...
